How to use Enriched Lawn Soil

New lawn

Step 1Remove the rocks and debris from the ground.

Step 2Spread 10 to 15 cm of enriched lawn soil over the area to be sown or sodded.

Step 3Sow according to the recommended quantities. Use a spreader for uniform results.

Step 4Water daily until germination, and during dry weather to encourage establishment.

 

Existing lawn

Step 1Mow the lawn shorter than usual (5 cm). Remove debris and weeds.

Step 2Use a rake to spread the lawn soil evenly to a thickness of 1.5 cm. Fill in any depressions to create a level surface. 

Step 3If desired, sow grass seed to repair bare patches.

 

Topdressing

Step 1Mow the lawn shorter than usual (5 cm). Remove debris and weeds.

Step 2Distribute small mounds of soil over the area to be topdressed.

Step 3Use a rake to spread the soil evenly over the lawn. Spread a maximum of 2 cm of soil to avoid smothering the existing grass and to achieve quick results. 

Step 4If desired, overseed to thicken and renew the lawn, and water to help the seed adhere to the soil and encourage germination.
